Central Commander Makes Formal Visits

Major General Keerthi Costa, Commander, Security Forces - Central made an official visit to the 111 Brigade, 2 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), 10 Gajaba Regiment (GR) and Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) which are under command to the Security Force Headquarters - Central during 09 -10 July after his assumption of duties as the Commander, Security Forces - Central.

The visiting Commander was warmly welcomed by the Brigade Commander of 111 Brigade, Brigadier K.A.M.N.H Bandaranayake, the Commanding Officers of 2 SLSR, 10 GR and SLRC, Major A.M.W.P Abesekara, Major A.J.S Abeynayake and Colonel R.M.H Jayathissa respectively. During the visit, the Commander planted a mango tree sapling in the camp premises of Sri Lanka Rifle Corps. After the troop address, Security Forces - Central Commander signed the Visitors’ Books marking his official visits to those under command Units.
