Canadian Diplomats Meet Jaffna Commander

Mr. Jawad Qureshi, an analyst in the Assessment Secretariat of the Privy Council Office of the Government of Canada, Counsellors, Mr. Jashua McLaren and Mr. Jennifer Hart called at the Security Force Headquarters –Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Monday (07).

Major General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J) welcomed the diplomats and had a frank exchange of views with them.

During the interaction, the SF-J, Commander also explained them the prevailing security situation in the Jaffna peninsula.

Mr Jawad Qureshi before his exit was invited to place his signature in the Visitors’ Book as a courtesy.
