A Sri Lankan medical expatriate, domiciled in Canada, considering the need for urgent medical accessories for treatment of COVID-19 patients gifted five wall mounted oxygen regulators and five cylinder oxygen regulators to the Army Hospital at Anuradhapura.
All ten accessories, donated by Dr Mrs Chithraleka Abeysinghe of Canada, her family and friends were formally handed over to Brigadier Nishantha Pathirana, Director, Army Medical Services and Colonel (Dr) Champika Abeysinghe, Consultant Anaesthetist at Colombo Army Hospital by Brigadier Dr Geethika Jayaweera, Consultant Radiologist at Colombo Army Hospital.
Captain D.S Bandara represented the Army Hospital at Anuradhapura during the formal handover.
