Businessmen Offer Their Share to Preventive Drive

A representative team of the Sri Lanka Electrical Equipment Businessmen’s Association met Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army & Head of the National Operational Centre for Prevention of Covid -19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) a few days ago at the Army Headquarters and donated a stock of health accessories.

The stock contained 200 safety kits and 200 visors that can be used by armed forces and health personnel in the management of individuals in quarantine at different Centres and those COVID -19 patients under treatment in hospitals.

Mr Dhammika Samarawickrama, Chairman and Mr P Sekara, Secretary to the Association were there at the Commander's office to make the donation.

This gesture was coordinated by Brigadier Chandana Wickramasinghe, Military Spokesman and Director Media at the Army Headquarters and Mr Shyam Nuwan Ganewatta, a senior journalist in the ‘Divaina’ newspaper.

Lieutenant General Silva, Head of the NOCPCO acknowledged the donation and thanked them for their kind thoughtfulness and considerateness.Sports brands | NIKE
