The Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) Regimental Centre at Werahara on Thursday (31 August) bade farewell to retiring Brigadier S.N Semage USP who has been a distinguished medical officer of the Regiment.
The day’s ceremony commenced with a customary Guard Turnout at the entrance followed by a colourful parade that saluted outgoing Brigadier S.N Semage USP.
The ceremony was held under the guidelines given by the Director General Army Health Services and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Major General P.A.C Fernando USP.
A farewell dinner that followed was also joined by Brigadier K.S.D Karunarathna, Brigadier W.M.T.Q.P Wijerathna, Brigadier N.K Ariyarathna USP, Brigadier P.T.R Makuloluwa, Brigadier M Muthumala and Brigadier P.G Wickramasooriya.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and Civil Staff participated in the day’s proceedings.
