Brigadier K.G.H.Sarath K Embowa (retd) of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment passed away at Ragama General Hospital on Monday (18) following a brief illness.
His remains are now lying at his residence, No 266/6, Divisional Secretariat road, Kandy road, Mallawapitiya in Kurunegala. He sustained injuries in the fight against LTTE terrorism and remained confined to a wheelchair.
