Brigadier Roshan Jayamanna, New Commandant Combat Training School Begins Duties

The recently-appointed Commandant, Combat Training School (CTS) Ampara, Brigadier Roshan Jayamanna assumed duties as the 43rd Commandant on Friday (24) at the Combat Training School premises at Ampara.

The new Commandant on arrival was honoured in a Guard Turn Out at the entrance. Afterwards, amid religious blessings, he left his signature for an official document and symbolized the acceptance of his new office. Later, he was invited to plant a sandalwood sapling in the premises as a symbol of memory.

He succeeds Major General Kalpa Sanjeewa who has now been appointed as the General Officer Commanding, 11 Division.

Colonel Dilantha Jayawardana, Commanding Officer, CTS, Officers and Other Ranks at the Combat Training School Ampara were associated with the occasion.
