Brigadier N.G.G.S Thilakarathne (Retd) of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment passed away on 18th January 2025, following a brief illness. He was 61 years old at the time of his untimely demise.
His remains will soon be placed at his residence in Gunnepana. Funeral arrangements with full military honours will be conducted on 20th January 2025 at Amunugama Cemetery.
