Brigadier Vipula Ihalage of Special Forces, the new Commandant at Diyatalawa Marksman and Sniper Training School (MSTS) took office on Monday (20) at his office as the 14th MSTS Commandant.
At his new office, Brigadier Vipula Ihalage performed religious observances and symbolically placed his signature for a formal document to signify the acceptance of his new appointment. Afterwards, he was introduced to Senior Officers, Officers and members of his staff at the MSTS.
He succeeds Brigadier Kithsiri Ekanayake who was appointed as the new Director Plans at the Army Headquarters.
