BOTH FIRST AND SECOND Courts Martial hearing charges against General Sarath Fonseka resumed sittings on Monday (21) respectively at 2.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m., as scheduled.
Witnesses, expected to testify in the first Court Martial are to be called up again on the next date of hearing. Proceedings will resume on 28th June 2010 at 2.00 p.m.
The second Court Martial hearings resumed at 4.00 p.m. on Monday (21). Witnesses under cross examination will continue when trial proceedings commence again at 4.00 p.m. on Monday (28). (Ends)
