Bogaswewa Kids Receive Gifts

A ceremony to give away prizes for kids at Dilenatharu Nursery School in Bogaswewa on account of the Kids’ New Year Festival took place on 11 April at Bogaswewa II village with the participation of the General Officer Commanding, 56 Division, Brigadier T.J Nanayakkara.

In addition to that, 50 students of the nursery and their family members received a gift parcels of clothes and dry ration packets. The religious blessings were conducted by the deputy Chief Incumbent of the Northern Province.

Financial support to the project was given by the Catico Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd, Nugegoda as incentives to the kids.

The event was coordinated by the Civil Coordinating Branch under the supervision and guidance of the Commander, Security Forces-Wanni.

Brigade Commander, 563 Brigade, Chief of Civil Coordinating Affairs of the Security Force Headquarters-Wanni, Civil Coordinating Affairs Officer of the 563 Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers, Managing Director and family members of the Catico Enterprises Company and a large number of civilians attended the day’s event.
