In line with Vesak Poya Day, a blood donation programme was organised by the troops of 1 Corps on 14 May 2025 at the Army Base Hospital, Kilinochchi.
This programme was conducted with the support of the Blood Bank of the General Hospital, Kilinochchi. The event was conducted under the guidance of Major General W.M.P.M Wijesuriya RWP RSP ndu, Commander of 1 Corps. A total of 05 Officers and 130 Other Ranks participated in donating blood.
