Under the guidance of Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B. Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander of Security Force - Jaffna, and the supervision of Colonel C.D. Welagedara USP IG, Commander 552 Infantry Brigade, the troops of the 552 Infantry Brigade organized a blood donation programme on 02 October 2024.
This programme was conducted with the support of the Blood Bank of the General Hospital, Jaffna, at the Base Hospital, Poonaryn. A total of 40 military personnel, along with 04 civilians and villagers volunteered to donate blood.
