Beach Patch in Point Pedro Cleaned

Army troops of the 521 Infantry Brigade of the 51 Infantry Division of the Security Force HQ-Jaffna conducted a programme to clean the beach premises of Point Pedro on 16 September 2023.

All Ranks under the supervision of the 521 Brigade took part in the day's task along with several civilians in Point Pedro.

People appreciated their common environment after the clean-up. It was further revealed that the sea pollutants and waste matter have posed a serious pollution.
