Basic Swimming and Lifesaving Course No. 22 Concluded Successfully

Under the guidance of Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, the Commander of the Security Forces (Wanni), the Basic Swimming Course No. 22, conducted from 5 November 2024 to 13 December 2024 at the Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) swimming pool in Anuradhapura.

The event was graced by Major General W.M.S.C.K Wanasinghe RSP USP, the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division, as the Chief Guest.

A total of 01 Officer and 30 Other Ranks successfully completed the course, earning the International Lifesaving Certificate (ILS), along with training in Water Safety and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), facilitated by the Sri Lanka Life Saving Association. Signalman J.A.M. Lakshan of the 4 Sri Lanka Signal Corps was awarded the title of Best Student for his outstanding performance.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
