The Basic Disaster Response Training Course No. 22 which was conducted from 22 April 2024 to 03 June 2024 and Intermediate Life Saving Course No. 05 which was conducted from 13 May 2024 to 03 June 2024 at the Sri Lanka Army Centre for Disaster Response Training (SLACDRT), Gampola, successfully completed on 03 June 2024.
07 Officers and 152 Other Ranks participated in the Basic Disaster Response Training course and Capt H.K.H.D.T.G Kurukuladiththa Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment earned the First in Order of Merit of the Basic Disaster Response Training Course No. 22.
S/113085 Trooper V.P.K.N Pathirana of 4 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps earned the First in Order of Merit in Intermediate Life Saving Course. 16 Other Ranks participated in the course. Colonel R.M.H.P.K Rathnayake, the Commandant SLACDRT delivered the closing remarks.
