Bangladesh High Commission's New Defence Attaché Makes his First Courtesy Call on Commander of the Army

The newly-accredited Commodore Mohamed Shafiul Bari, Defence Attaché in the High Commission of Bangladesh in Sri Lanka made his first courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, General Shavendra Silva at the Army Headquarters on Wednesday (13).

Discussions that ensued largely focused on sound bilateral relations that prevail between both military organizations and possibilities for further improvement with training modules for tri servicemen in Sri Lanka, in addition to what has already been granted by the Bangladesh Army.

General Silva gratefully acknowledged the understanding and the cooperation, being extended by Bangladesh counterparts to the Army throughout last couples of years and expressed his desire to further promote such ties in future in the training sphere, mock exercises, etc.

Towards the end of the cordial discussions, they exchanged mementos to mark the courtesy meet at the Army Headquarters. Prior to their departure, the visiting Commodore also inquired into the status quo of COVID-19 in Sri Lanka. Nike sneakers | Nike Air Max 270
