Bangladesh DSCSC Delegation Meets Commander

A representative group of the 26-member student officer delegation of the Bangladesh Defence Services Command & Staff College (DSCSC), now in Sri Lanka on a familiarization tour as a part of their curriculum paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake this morning (27) at his office in the Army Headquarters.

Captain Abdullah Al-Maksus of the Bangladesh Navy, Senior Instructor at Bangladesh DSCSC, Defence Attaché at High Commission of Sri Lanka, one more senior delegate and the Director General Army Training, Major General Aruna Wanniarachchi were among those who were associated with the meeting at the Commander’s Office.

The delegation during their ten-day stay in Sri Lanka is expected to call on the Commander of the Navy and Commander of the Air Force and visit Lakshman Kadiragamar Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies (LKIIRSS), Defence Service Command and Staff College at Sapugaskanda, Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), Bangladesh High Commission and several other institutes before they visit places of historical, cultural and religious interest towards the latter part of their itinerary in the island.

Towards the end of the meeting, both Commander of the Army and the Head of the Bangladesh delegation exchanged mementos as gestures of goodwill.

A separate briefing about Sri Lanka Army and its role was placed before the Bangladesh delegation by Major General Aruna Wanniarachchi, Director General Army Training after the meet at the Commander’s Office.Sports Shoes | Nike for Men
