The finals of the inter-regiment badminton tournament took place at Royal College Indoor Stadium, Colombo on 6th August.
Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) carried away the championship trophy and players of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) emerged runners up.
The tournament held for four days at Maitland Place Indoor Badminton Stadium was completed by both men and women’s teams. Major General E.P.De Z Abeysekara, Deputy Chief of Staff attended the finals as the Chief Guest.
