Mr Sampath de Seram and Mr Indika Rajapakshe of the ‘Alcohol and Drug Information Center’(ADIC) launched an awareness programme on narcotics at the Security Force Headquarters Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) auditorium on Friday (24) .
This program was conducted to coincide with the ‘National No Tobacco Week’ to make military personnel enlighten on dangers of the use of narcotics and consumption of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
This programme was initiated on the instructions of Major General P.U.S Vithanage, Commander SFHQ-MLT.
Colonel S.Kasthurimudali, Colonel General Staff Officer of the SFHQ-MLT, many officers and more than 300 other ranks erving the SFHQ-MLT attended the event.
