Under the guidance of Brigadier L.G.J.N Ariyathilaka RWP RSP, the Commandant of the Army Training School (ATS), 127 children from economically deprived families who attend Alawakumbura Maha Vidyalaya and Damminna Primary Schools were presented with school bags and books on 26 December 2023 at Damminna Primary School. The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance their educational experience. Additionally, ten children of civil servants at ATS were also provided with school accessories during this event.
