ASVU President Stimulates War Heroes at ‘Ranaviru Sevana’ Ragama

With the objective of raising mental stability and wellness of permanently-injured War Heroes under recuperation and rehabilitation, Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), together with several Senior Officers called at the Ranaviru Sevana at Ragama on Tuesday (23 May).

During the visit, Mrs. Liyanage interacted with those resident War Heroes and inquired into their well-being and their family members as well as their requirements.

Afterwards, she visited the prosthetic and orthotic workshop for production of artificial shoes and limbs inside the compound and exchanged views with the resident War Heroes working in the unit.

Before her departure, she awarded gift parcels to those War Heroes and wished them good luck with their rehabilitation process. She also left a couple of compliments in the visitors’ book.
