Assuming Duties as the 25th Colonel Commandant of SLASC

Major General A.K Rajapakse RSP, the Master General Ordnance assumed duties as the 25th Colonel Commandant of the esteemed Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) on 20 October 2023 in a simple ceremony at the Regimental Headquarters at Sri Lanka Army Service Corps encapsulating the rich traditions and values of the corps.

Following the Guard Turnout, the ceremony proceeded with the adherence to religious traditions, signifying the sanctity and auspiciousness of the event. With solemnity and reverence, Major General A.K. Rajapakse RSP, assumed his duties as the Colonel Commandant of SLASC at his office, embodying the responsibility and honor bestowed upon him by the corps.

The Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps participated in the event.
