ARTRAC Commander Visits Disaster Response Team at Kotmale

Commander, Army Training Command (ARTRAC) Major General Sena Waduge made his maiden formal visit to the Sri Lanka Army Centre for Disaster Response Team (SLACDRT) at Kotmale on Wednesday (3).

The visiting senior officer received an update and a briefing on the SLACDRT role and tasks from Colonel Susantha Amarakoon, Commandant, SLACDRT after he was received at the main gate.

Thereafter, Major General Sena Waduge was invited to plant a sapling in the premises to mark the visit. Then he visited the camp compound and the training area. After that, he addressed the troops and emphasized the importance of disaster response activities.
