Artillery Brigade Celebrates its 36th Anniversary

The Artillery Brigade proudly celebrated its 36th Anniversary on 24 November 2024 under the guidance of Commander of the Artillery Brigade, Brigadier T.G.I.A. Ariyarathne RSP IG.

The anniversary festivities, held from 20 to 23 November 2024, included a Dewala Poojawa at Minneriya Dewalaya, a Bodhi Pooja at the camp, alms giving for 14 monks at Nagala Kanda Raja Maha Viharaya, a Senior Non-Commissioned Officers' get-together, and a cricket tournament.

On anniversary day, the Commander of the Artillery Brigade was honored in a Guard Turnout, planted a sapling and posed for a group photograph and attended the All-Ranks lunch. The event concluded with a get-together at the Officers’ Mess.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
