Sri Lanka Army Judo team in a convincing contest won the overall championship of the Defence Services Judo Championship - 2018, held during 6 - 8 September at the Navy Sports Complex in Welisara.
In the sportsmen's category, the Championship in team events was won by the Sri Lanka Army, scoring 57 marks while the Sri Lanka Air Force emerged runners-up scoring 43.5 marks.
In the sportswomen's category, the Championship went to the Sri Lanka Air Force women who scored 41 marks while the Sri Lanka Army emerged the runners-up by collecting 34 marks.
