Army War College’s Graduation Ceremony Ends with Awarding

The graduation ceremony of the first trimester of the Senior Command Course-07 (SSC), Junior Command Course 26 (JCC) and Junior Staff Course 23 (JSC) was held on 8 April 2023 at the Army War College auditorium in Buttala.

The Commandant, Brigadier Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc graced the awarding occasion as the Chief Guest. 130 Officers comprised of 33 student officers of Senior Command Course-7, 71 student officers of Junior Command Course-26 and 26 student officers of Junior Staff Course-23 passed out upon receipt of certificates.

Following student officers in respective courses got the highest aggregate and received special awards, presented by the Commandant. Following are the results:

First in order of merit - Captain K. P Kaluarachchi of Sri Lanka Engineers

Second in order merit - Lieutenant T. M. C. M. B Thennakoon of Commando Regiment
