Sri Lanka Army bench press sportsmen scored 24 marks to claim 3 Gold and 3 Silver medals and qualified for the overall championship during an all island.
Bench press competition, held at the Maithri hall- Bandaragama on Monday (4) on account of the National Independence Day.
Nine island-wide teams vied in this upper body training competition and lifters in Kohuwala High-octane Sports Club carried the runner-up trophy.
