3 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops called at Sri Dharma Nikethana Pirivena at Sella Katharagama on Friday (01) and offered alms to 20 Buddhist monks, resident at the place as part of their civil-oriented services.
Major General P. R. A Dias, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division and Brigade Commander, 122 Brigade supported the arrangement.
A total of 13 Army personnel including 3 officers and 10 other ranks attended the day’s event.
