Troops serving 53 Division under the Directorate of Operation at Army Headquarters in the general area of Inamaluwa, Dambulla on Wednesday (10) responded quickly and arrested a bush fire that was fast spreading in a forest reserve close to the 53 Division Headquarters.
The bush fire that broke out as a result of prevailing dry weather condition was brought under control in less than an hour.
