The Tier ‘B’ T20 Cricket Tournament 2024, conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket Committe, concluded with Army Sports Club (SC) securing the runner-up trophy. The tournament featured 12 teams competing in two divisions.
In the first round, Army SC competed with Moratuwa SC, Air Force SC, Malay SC, Kandy CC, and United Southern CC. After advancing to the semi-finals, they defeated Old Dharmapalians SC by 7 wickets, earning a spot in the finals against Malay SC.
The final match was held on 17 November 2024 at the Air Force Ground, Katunayake and Army SC set a competitive target of 150 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. However, Malay SC chased the target successfully, scoring 154 runs in 19 overs with five wickets to spare.
Corporal K.G.B Chandraboose was named the tournament's best bowler after taking 11 wickets, showcasing exceptional performance throughout the event.
