National and Junior National Aquatic Swimming Championship - 2023 got underway at Suagthadasa Stadium swimming pool during 29 June - 1 July with the participation of island-wide swimmers.
More than 600 swimmers representing schools and various sports clubs in the island participated in the championship tournament.
By securing 4 Gold, 11 Silver and 3 Bronze medals, the Army team secured the second place in the National Aquatic Swimming Championship - 2023 (Men’s Category).
Major General S.U.M.N Manage, Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Aquatic Sports Committee gave necessary guidelines to the Army participants.
