10th edition of the National 5 km Open Water Swimming Championship - 2020 got underway on Sunday morning (19) at Galle Face beach front.
26 male and 6 female swimmers participated in the Championship by representing the Army swimming team.
During this year’s championship, 5 Army swimmers were able to enter among the first 10 in order of their merits. They were declared the Overall Team Champions.
In the Men’s category, following swimmers, grabbed the medals as follows;
