Army troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) supported the conduct of the annual Kachchativu island feast attended by a large number of Sri Lankan as well as Indian devotees in order to achieve spiritual advancement through the prayers of this St. Anthony’s Church.
The service of the annual feast was conducted in Sinhala, Tamil and English languages. The Bishop - Diocese of Galle, Rt. Rev. Raymond Wickramasinghe, Vicar General of Sivagangai Diocese - India, Rev. Joseph Lourdu Raja were in attendance and the Bishop of Jaffna Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin Gnanapragasam led the mass, amidst a large gathering of devotees and military personnel of Sri Lanka Army and Sri Lanka Navy on Saturday (7).
