Army Squash players participating in the 40th National Squash Championship 2020 held at SSC Squash Courts, won two Gold Medals, six Silver Medals and two Bronze Medals in different categories and attracted the spectators to emerge as the winner of the highest number of medals and trophies.
The four-day long tournament organized by the Sri Lanka Squash Federation after a lapse of a year without any tournament due to ongoing Covid 19 epidemic was held from 28-31 January 2021 adhering to all COVID -19 prevention health guidelines.
The prize awarding ceremony was graced by Mr Amal Edirisooriya, Director General Sports, Ministry of Sports as the Chief Guest on Sunday (31) at the SSC pavilion complex.
