Sri Lanka Army Rugby Team clinched the victory over CH & FC Sports Club Rugby team by scoring 17 points during the Inter Club Dialog Rugby Tournament - 2014, held at Royal College grounds on Sunday (16).
At the first half, Army secured 10 points against 9 of their rivals.
However, at the end of the game, Army managed to score 17 while CH & FC scored only 15 points.
HE the President, Mahinda Rajapaksa with his spouse, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army, together with a host of other senior officers, witnessed the Rugby match.
