Army Rugby Players in CR & FC Centenary 7s Tournament Win Ball Championship

Army male and female ruggerites displayed their high performance and exceptional sport skills at the CR & FC centenary 7s tournament, held during 1 - 2 April at the CR & FC Ground in Colombo 7.

The Rugby tournament commenced with the participation of leading Rugby clubs including schools and overseas teams (Australian and Doha Qatar).

The Sri Lanka Army men’s team won the Ball Champion beating the Sri Lanka Police team and the Sri Lanka Army women’s team secured the runners–up slot in the Cup Champion loosing the team to the Australian club.
