The ‘Eliyakanda Speed Hill Climb 2024’ took place on 24 and 25 February 2024 at the Eliyakanda motor track, Matara, showcasing thrilling motor cross competition.
The event was hosted by the Sri Lanka Motor Sports Federation, Sri Lanka Motorcycle Sports Association and Southern Motor Sports Club under the guidance of the Ministry of Sports. Three army riders clinched the championship titles.
Exceptional performances are as follows:
Corporal B.I. Maduranga claimed the Fastest and Most Skilled Rider's Award, securing the First Place in the 125 cc - 250 cc Speed Trail Bike Open Event.
Corporal J.M.S. Jayalath emerged victorious in the SM - Super Motard 250/450 cc Open Event.
Private L.B.D. Senevirathne showcased exceptional skill, winning the SM Super Motard 250/450 cc Open Event.
