The famous Mankulam playground, repaired and renovated by troops of the 3 Gajaba Regiment (GR) serving under 57 Division in Kilinochchi was re-opened recently during a simple ceremony.
Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), together with General Officers Commanding Divisions, Brigade Commanders and senior officers attended the occasion.
It will now remain open to the public at Mankulam.
