Army Provides Lecture Assistance to Hambantota District Hospital during Workshop

Responding to a request made by the Hambantota District Hospital from the 12 Infantry Division HQ, the Army provided lecture assistance for a three-day workshop organized by the Hambantota District Hospital, themed ‘Quality Management’ on Thursday (12 Oct).

Accordingly, Major P.S Vidanagamage, Chief Instructor of Parachute Training Wing and Coordinating Officer of Leadership Training Course at Commando Regiment Training School in Kuda Oya conducted a lecture on ‘Professional Development and Public Image Building’ for the audience during the arrangement.

The lecture included basic rituals and ethics, usage of mobile phones, social etiquettes, etc. More than 50 of the hospital staff participated in the session and towards the end, the Director of the Hambantota District Hospital highly commended the assistance provided by the Army. Further, he thanked the Commander of the Army and the General Officer Commanding, 12 Infantry Division for quickly responding to their request at short notice and requested further assistance during upcoming training programmes.
