Dr. W.L.S.P Perera, Coordinating Officer of the Disaster Preparedness and Response Division of Ministry of Health and Dr. Novil Wijesekara, Registrar at Community Medicine on Friday (26) using a current topic conducted a lecture on ‘Disaster Management’ at the Security Force Headquarters- Killinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) auditorium.
Army and Police Officers, together with the staff at the District Secretariat, General Hospital, Kilinochchi and Irrigation Department attended this awareness programme, coordinated by Dr. P. Karthikeyan, Medical Superintendent at General Hospital Kilinochchi.
Brigadier B. B. Randeniya, Brigadier General Staff at the SFHQ-KLN and senior officers at SFHQ-KLN also attended the programme.
