Army Players Shine in National Tug of War Championship 2024

The 20th National Tug of War Championship 2024, organized by the National Tug of War Association, was held at the Municipal Council Ground, Bandarawela, on 07 December 2024.

Sri Lanka Army displayed exceptional skill, securing five championships across various categories in both men's and women's events.

The following titles were won by Army Tug of War players:

• 640 kg (Senior Men) – Championship

• 560 kg (Senior Women) – Championship

• Under 23 (Men) – Championship

• Open (Men) – Championship

• Open (Women) – Championship
