Army Players Secure Five Bronze Medals at 37th World Sepak Takraw Tournament

Four male and four female players from the Sri Lanka Army represented the Sri Lanka National Sepak Takraw pool at the 37th World Sepak Takraw Tournament in Thailand, securing five Bronze medals across eight categories. The tournament, officially known as the ISTAF World Sepaktakraw Championship 2024, took place from 01 - 08 September 2024, as part of the prestigious Thai King’s Cup, a prominent event in the sepak takraw calendar.

The Sri Lanka Army Sepak Takraw Committee played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the Army athletes, providing essential guidance, instructions, and administrative support throughout their participation in the event.
