More than 35 members of the 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) and 2 Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) volunteered to donate blood during a programme organized at Obadaella Sudarshanarama Temple, Bandarawela on Friday (25).
“Dayaka Sabawa” (laity) at the temple organized the blood donation campaign and sought the participation of the troops for donation of blood in the arrangement.
Under the supervision of the Commander SFHQ-C, Major General A.P. De Z Wickramarathna, troops actively supported the drive by donating many pints of blood on the occasion.
