Army Organizes Financial Donations to Two University Entrants

Troops of the 23 Vijayabhau Infantry Regiment (VIR) of the 642 Brigade in the 64 Division of the Security Force HQ-Mullaittivu adding their share to the uplift of poor civilians on Tuesday (15) organized financial donations to two underprivileged students who have been qualified to enter the university for studies through overseas-based philanthropists.

Accordingly, Mr Subramanium Ravindradas and Mrs Shiromala Wickramasingha, resident in Canada came forward to support their higher studies at the request of Major A.B.S Athukorala, Commanding Officer, 23 VIR.

Brigadier Ajith Pallewala, General Officer Commanding, 64 Division handed over those two financial donations to both daughters in the presence of their parents.

The occasion was organized by the 23 VIR Commanding Officer under the supervision of Brigadier Prasanna Wijesoriya, 642 Brigade Commander. bridgemedia | Air Jordan
