Troops of the 68 Division under command to the Security Force HQ - Mullaittivu, together with the Regional Health Officials at PuthukudduIrripu conducted the stage 2 of the mobile vaccination process for 60+ civilians who had got the 1st dose of Sinopharm vaccine in the area in 29 September.
Army Medical team and regional health officials jointly conducted the programme which was highly beneficial to the elders.
On the directions of General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Major General Sisira Pilapitiya, Commander Security Forces-Mullaittivu gave necessary direction to the troops together with the General Officer Commanding, 68 Division.
