Major General M.W.T.C Mettananda USP ndc concluded his tenure as the Commander Logistics Command on 21 May 2024.
In accordance with military traditions, a Guard Turnout was accorded before he marked the end of his tenure by signing the official handing over document at the office premises.
Adding memories to the day, the outgoing Commander Logistics Command was invited to pose for a group photograph. In his address to all Ranks, the Senior Officer expressed appreciation for the commitment and dedication demonstrated by all ranks during his tenure.
The formalities for the day concluded with an All-Ranks tea, providing an opportunity for the outgoing Commander Logistics Command to interact with all Ranks.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks also took part in the event.
