Army Karate Players Win Defence Services Karate Championship - 2023

The Defence Services Karate Championship - 2023 got underway at Sri Lanka Air Force indoor stadium in Colombo during 18-19 September, competed by Tri-service karate players.

During the tournament the Sri Lanka Army team (Men’s category) clinched the championship, securing an impressive tally of 5 Gold, 2 Silver, and 7 Bronze Medals the Sri Lanka Air Force team had to settle for the runners-up position.

In the Women’s category, Sri Lanka Air Force Karate team carried away the championship pushing the Army team to be the runner-up.
