Army Judo Players Win Medals at Thailand International Judo Championships 2024

Thailand International Judo Championship 2024 was held from 18 to 24 September 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the participation of 15 countries. Sri Lanka Army Judo players showcased remarkable skills, winning both silver and bronze medals in the competition.

The following Army players earned recognition for their outstanding performances:

• Corporal W.A.W.P. Premarathna of 4 Sri Lanka National Guard – Silver Medal

• Lance Corporal H.M.D.A. Herath of 4(V) Sri Lanka Engineers – Silver Medal

• Private M.A.M. Marco of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard – Silver Medal

• Infantryman D.G.C.L. Jayasundara of 10 Gajaba Regiment – Bronze Medal

• Private K.M.S.L.B. Pahath Kumbura of 4 Sri Lanka National Guard – Bronze Medal
