The Army Inter-Regiment Table Tennis Tournament - 2024, organised by the Sri Lanka Army Table Tennis Committee, took place at the Panagoda Army Indoor Stadium from 27 to 29 August 2024. The event featured over 50 participants from 11 teams representing 8 Regiments.
In the men’s and women’s categories, the Sri Lanka Signal Corps emerged victorious. Gajaba Regiment secured the runners-up position in the men’s category, while the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps team took second place in the women’s category.
Infantryman U.N. Ranasinghe of the Gajaba Regiment was recognised as the best player in the men’s category, and Signal Women K.H. Pitigala of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps was honoured as the best player in the women’s category.
Major General S.R.B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
